The team
The OISE Paris team is committed to making your program and your stay in Paris as successful and enjoyable as possible.
The teachers
Our teaching team is highly qualified, experienced and is recruited under strict guidelines.
All our teachers are French native speakers and have a minimum of a Masters Degree in FLE (French as a Foreign Language), usually combined with another degree such as law, literature, history or art. This combination allows them to adapt perfectly to each student’s personal profile and objectives and to approach the French language and culture as a whole. Moreover, our teachers are trained according to OISE’s methods of teaching and techniques, and apply with enthusiasm and success the OISE teaching philosophy in every lesson.
OISE teachers are demanding, dynamic and motivated by their students’ progress. The tailor-made and rigorous teaching programmes correspond to our students’ needs and are perfectly tailored to all levels of French: general, medical, legal or literary, or sectors such as aeronautical, industrial, chemical, insurance, tourism or fashion.

I am a graduate in French language and literature and have a Master's Degree in French as a Foreign Language, As part of my degree, I worked in Lebanon, where I taught French to young learners. I then taught in Ukraine, in the French Centre of the university. I was also a DELF and DALF examiner. As I was very keen on Russian culture, and particularly Russian literature, I joined a school in Moscow, where I taught general French to students of all levels. I also taught business French in companies. Back in Paris, I work at OISE and have the pleasure of teaching students of all nationalities. Marie. |
After studying Chinese language an culture in Paris, I carried on fulfilling my passion for China, in particular for the Chinese language, by travelling several times across the Middle Kingdom. I then obtained a degree and a Master's degree in FLE so that I could teach French in a Franco-Chinese association. Rich of these experiences and wanting to mix with a wider public, I began to teach French at the OISE school in 2002. With the small and dynamic OISE team and thanks to excellent educational facilities, I am able to transmit my passion for the French language and culture to students. Valérie

After obtaining my French and Latin Degree, I worked in a school library in Guadeloupe. I then lived in Munich where I learnt German and taught French as a Foreign Language to students of all levels as well as in various companies. During my stay in Germany, I passed a Master's degree in FLE. Since I returned to France, I have been teaching French at OISE Paris. Cinema, travel and culture are amongst my hobbies, but when my busy family life leaves me enough time, gastronomy and reading remain my favourite pastimes. Claire

After studying business and beginning my professional career in this sector, I decided to pursue my passion for travelling and languages and went to study abroad. When I returned to Paris, I studied teaching French as a Foreign Language and then went out to Japan, a country that had attracted me for a long time. I taught general French and business French in the Japanese French Institute in Tokyo and also in a Japanese university, amongst other places. Since I returned to Paris, I have been teaching French in several companies. At OISE, I especially appreciate its friendly atmosphere and enthusiastic students. Thierry

After obtaining a degree in Modern Literature, my desire to discover other cultures lead me to studying French as a Foreign Language. I did a Master’s degree and started working for the French Institute in Seville, then in different language centres in France (Paris and Dijon) where I taught General French and French for specific purposes. Two years spent in Romania allowed me to pass on my passion for the French language and broaden my experience. I built up excellent relations with the students and my Romanian colleagues in the department. Since I have been back in France, I have joined the OISE team where I particularly appreciate its professionalism and friendliness. Delphine

After taking a literature degree at the Sorbonne, I specialised in editing. I worked as coordinating editor for a few years. I came to French as a foreign language through an English work experience. In fact, while taking an English course I realized that I wanted to be a teacher, not to teach English but to teach French! So I returned to university to do a master’s in teaching French as a foreign language. Once I received my diploma I headed to Vienna to teach adolescents in secondary schools and adults in their companies. Having returned to France, I worked for different language schools, including OISE. Some months ago, Claire Jannot asked me to re-join her team. Obviously I accepted, happy to work in such a cosmopolitan and warm environment. Julie |
After working as a lawyer specialised in business law for 8 years, I was lucky to live abroad for several years, in the United-States, Netherlands and Spain. This period gave me the opportunity to learn different languages and approach ways of thinking and living different from mine. At that time, I began teaching French to executives in companies and training to obtain my Master’s degree in teaching French as a Foreign Language. Since I returned to France, I have been teaching in different schools. It is every time a pleasure to meet and work with the motivated students of the OISE school and an opportunity to share my enthusiasm for learning languages and exchange on intercultural subjects.
